Walkathon Day 6 – Rao Sahibs near the foot of Tirumala Nov. 22, 2009
Continuing their amazing pilgrimage, Rtn. Rao Sahib and Ann Lalitha Rao Sahib have arrived at Srinivasa Mangapuram which is also known as Kalyana Venkateswara because of the temple with that name situated in this village. Staring at 3am on Sunday morning from Kanipakam, the Rao Sahibs walked a distance of 58KMs to arrive at this town at around 9:30PM. Today during the walk they had to brave the maximum amount of sun and heat as there were few clouds. This is also their longest per day distance covered and the longest duration on a day spent walking (18 hours). Tonight they will stay at the Arya Vyshya Sangha facility at Kalyana Venkateswara before starting the last leg of their pilgrimage to Tirumala.
